I live in a college town, and within the next month or so a good amount of people are going to be graduating and moving away. I’ve found great deals on all sorts of furniture items around town- a Malm bed frame from Ikea for $35, a less than a year old couch and loveseat for $120, and a whole set of kitchen supplies (pots and pans as well as knives, spatulas, serving utensils, etc.) for $20. Check Facebook marketplace especially since I’ve notice less and less people are using Craigslist nowadays. I was already planning on buying a lot of these things since I live in a fairly unfurnished 1 bedroom apt by myself.
