Hi everyone,
I have been told what my annual bonus is for end of financial year 2017/2018 and it’s a little disappointing because it’s less than I got last year even though as a Branch we made around 30% more NET profit. Actual bonuses paid is less than last year also so we have put more money into the owners pockets and see less of a chunk as a result.
Looking at my bonus sheet there are all sorts of pluses and minuses going on to get the resulting NET bonus figure to me but there is a sum which I can’t figure out what it means.
It basically gives me my gross bonus and denotes it as DOA, but then it minuses from that figure DOA(b) resulting in my NET bonus.
I can’t work out what the DOA(b) is, it looks like some made up figure. As far as I’m concerned, my prediction about what I should be getting this year is more in keeping with the DOA figure but along comes this DOA(b) and I’m left with less than last year.
Can anyone tell me what DOA(b) means or is it specific to my company?
Thanks for any advice on this.
