MediCredit Inc. Just contacted us today trying to collect a debt for 1,166. It's a hospital bill for hospital care services ect for when our baby was born. It was originally 1,966 and we paid 800 in March towards it. We haven't made a payment since then and were going to just do another big payment this month, our mistake for not informing the hospital. I still find it odd that they sent it to collections 3 months after a payment has been made, is that normal? How can we deal with it so it doesn't affect our credit and don't owe more than we need to. Any advice is appreciated, thank you!
