So I have bare timber on my bathroom floor at the moment and I'd like to leave it as such (without tiles). I will stain and varnish it (and add any necessary waterproofing). 3 of the 4 walls have been tiled. I'd like to match the 4th wall with the floor but I'm not sure how.I want it to look exactly the same. I don't want different shades of brown between the wall and floor. What is the best way to do this?I can only think of attaching panels of wood to the wall and staining/varnishing that the same way as the floor. That seems like a lot of work though. I had the idea of painting the wall and using a wood grainer but I dont think that will achieve the same colour on both the floor and wall.This is the kinda look I'm going for (without the bathtub).Any suggestions? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2rIC3BS
