I am not really sure where to put this question so if this is not the right place sorry. So my issue is I have a pair or wood cups on my headphones (Camphor) and not sure exactly what I is coated or treated with but it is very slightly glossy. I want to attach a microphone to it. Now the microphone I have was sent with a few small 3M like adhesive strips and you just stick them on then stick on the mic. Since I am assuming this not to be wood safe I contacted the manufacture of the headphones and he suggested "painters tape" then stick the adhesive over the tape. I was wondering what tape I should be looking for exactaly or what would be the best way to do this? Also to not the mic is very light and will be pretty much permenent (but would like to not damage the wood either way). Thanks for any help. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2FZkeah
