Hi all,I recently moved into a new rental property and upon opening a window in the kitchen found that the mechanisms of the window itself had rusted to such a degree that the window can't actually be re-closed.I've reported this to the property managers, but they're dragging their feet, and I can't really get it fixed on my own dime without incurring possibly unrecoverable cost to myself, but also don't want to leave the window streaming cold air into the property in December, especially as I plan to be away for Christmas. So I was looking for a way to cover the window with a temporary, airtight seal, presumably plastic of some type, but I'm not sure offhand what I'm looking for, and the usual googling has proven fruitless!Details:I'm in the UKWindow is in a kind of "cubby hole", so there's an airgap between window and main wall.Pictures: http://ift.tt/2kHUgiE help is appreciated! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2y7WWa4
