So DH slid on ice yesterday and hit a tree with the front of his car. He was then immediately swiped by someone on the side of his car directly as a result of the first accident. Insurance wants to treat both impacts as two separate accidents which means one $500 deductible for the front damage and one $500 deductible for the side. Is this normal or should we fight it?
