This past year I did a test. Starting in January I paid all our bills and expenses on the credit card and paid it off in full each month. We earned a percentage back in reward points. I've allowed them to accumulate all year.
Then I went shopping!! All of our Christmas gifts have been paid for in full using our credit card rewards.
I think I'll be doing the same thing next year too.
