I'm (slowly) building a standing desk home PC/entertainment center, and I saw MassDrop's monitor mount drop today for $40. I thought they would be perfect for my station, so I checked Amazon for their price. $45 with two day shipping and the MassDrop one doesn't ship until December 18th. But $80 is way more than I want to spend on these, so I check the related items and find a very similar one with decent reviews for $20. I add two to my cart and proceed to check my keyboard tray, only to find it on an Amazon lightning deal for $17 off if ordered within the next hour. I checked on a couple 3rd party sites and the keyboard tray has been the same price on Amazon for more than a year, and no one had it cheaper.
Although I spent money, I was going to buy these things regardless, and managed to save some money due to being patient.
