I'm an international student at UBC and soon to graduate with a degree in computer science and biology. I'm fortunate enough that my education has been paid for by my family but by no means am I financially well off. I have a decent part-time job with the university but haven't really made the effort to save much. I've been wondering for the past few months on how to invest/save some cash but so far I haven't found a solid answer. Do I go to my bank and ask? Do approach some business students (jk)? I'm pretty lost here so any advice is much appreciated.
