I'm a graduate student who just got gifted a $100 gift card to whole foods. As much as I'd like to splurge on fancy $15 per ounce cheese and such, I want to be as efficient as possible when I go shopping there. I was thinking about diving into the bulk food section for nonperishables, spices, etc. What should I look for that'll get me the best bang for my buck? WF is a dangerous place for those on a food budget, as I've definitely done the whole "how the hell did I spend so much on THAT?" before...
I have a pretty wide range of tastes and no dietary restrictions. I also like to cook big amounts of food once a week and live on the leftovers.
