Hi! I have a large 45'' wide, about 75'' tall south-facing window. It slides open but idk if it's double-hung or... single-hung...? I can definitely feel the cold air in the mornings! First time living in an apartment, and heat is one of my utilities.
I bought window insulating film and have "blackout curtains" that I'll draw at night, but I wanted to check in and see if you have any tips for best application practices and so on. I'm also wondering if I should put a draft sock along the sill before I apply the film.
Thank-you all! I hate the winters here. I saw an article basically advertising Japanese sitting tubs as a nice way to combat winter blues and was very tempted to get a big bucket to fill with hot water and sit in.
