Only my mom works but only makes $36k/year. Her English is not the best and she also is not educated.
Dad collecting a measly $300/month in Social Security.
Their house was foreclosed on. They are in debt over their eyeballs.
What to do? Right now they are renting an apartment, but I know this is not sustainable because they keep going into further and further debt trying to make it work (credit cards maxed out, cars to pay for). My mom's entire paycheck basically goes to rent. What is the future here?
I really don't want to take them in. My spouse and I are going to have a baby. I don't really have the space if I want to give my future child a bedroom/nursery...
