What are your suggestions for an aesthetically pleasing way to run several cables from an attic down to the floor below without going through the wall?

I am installing an eight-camera security system AND a surround sound system. The cameras will be in different locations throughout the house, and the speakers will be in the ceiling in the living room. I want to run all the camera cables and speaker wires through the attic to a single location in ceiling in a corner of the living room, down the wall to the floor to connect to the entertainment center where all electronics are housed.
