Posted this earlier but the title wasn’t descriptive so it was removed:Ok so, my water heater has a new thermocouple (actually a new pilot assembly) on it that is working but I’m still having issues..When I light the pilot it will stay on by itself. When I light the burners it will stay on and heat the water but then all of sudden 5 minutes or so in cut off and when it cuts off so does the pilot light.The crazy thing is if I manually turn the nob to reduce the temperature I want the water to be and the burners turn off the pilot light stays on!I’m thoroughly confused... what else could it be? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2fWD9Es
