This is not a huge project but I looked around for about an hour and I'm fairly sure this is the right subreddit for this post. If not I'd highly appreciate someone directing me to the right one!Long story short, I got this hip flask (pics linked below) from an old girlfriend a few years ago but it has a tiny hole in it on the bottom now.The flask has my initials inscribed on the front and is stitched with leather and fanciness and all that stuff, and I'm pretty sure she paid a lot for it so I'd like to keep it around.Basically I'm trying to figure out what I can do to seal the tiny hole/crack in the bottom in a way where I can actually use it without poisoning myself.I've considered epoxy/glues of different kinds but I'm not sure if the ethyl alcohol will break it down and I don't want to drink from it if I don't know!I've also considered soldering, but I don't know anything about soldering and again I don't want to end up doing something where I end up drinking lead or aluminum.Pics of the flask, filled with water so you can see where the hole is and water is dripping out:http://ift.tt/2wW1ZxW http://ift.tt/2h2QevE any suggestions? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2wVNie4
