Okay, this is my big beef with the frugality community (and my own behavior). Frugal decisions fall into two categories:

A. Decisions that are fundamentally responsible, both individually and systematically. These things are good for me and better for everyone, and the best would be for everyone to adopt this behavior as widely as appropriate.

B. Decisions that benefit individuals but are part of a system that is wasteful or exploitive or otherwise anti-frugal on a macro scale. These choices mean that individuals benefit but only at others' expense or as part of a situation where it's not possible for everyone to adopt this behavior and have it still work.

Let's organize a list of what fits in each category!
