Sorry if this isn't the right subreddit to ask (advise me on where to go if not).My burglar alarm was going off on power cuts, so I replaced the battery in the main panel. Yet if I cut the power, it still goes off on power cuts?I don't have any equipment available to test the battery, but is it possible the battery I bought is a dud? Could there be something else wrong with my burglar alarm system?I appreciate there's only so much advice you can give, since you don't have a clue what the burglar alarm system is I have.
