Hey guys, so as the title states, I plan to mount a TV to either side of a wall, problem is, there are metal studs that run through the wall and I have no idea how to mount to them. My family and I are building a new house and we just finished up with the electrical appointments and decided where we wanted to place the TV's, I've included a portion of the floor plan to show what we plan to do. Now the electrical consultant said that the builders can add a wooden slab mounted to the metal studs to allow us to mount the TV's but I was wondering if that would cause any issues or if I would need to get them on both sides to mount both TV's, from my understanding, if I only installed one piece of wood, the other TV would need to go through the stud probably compromising the stability of the piece of wood and the TV mounted to it. Any suggestions or explanations would be greatly appreciated. Here's a link to the floor plan portion: http://ift.tt/2w7Xvo8's a link to the builders "hybrid framing system": http://ift.tt/2y4wJun thanks !! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2x0xtSP
