I'm building a desk for my apartment at college. I had a plan but I'm starting to second guess things and some input would be nice. I know for sure I would like the desktop to be the dimensions specified and it'll be 30" high. Other than that I don't know what I should do. I'm limited with the space I have as you can see but I would like it to fit in the corner space. I want more desktop space or I would have just done a flat desk instead of a corner design.I was thinking just 2X4 posts for supports to keep it cheap but then I was thinking about a plywood panel for the sides and a shelf for binders. But I'm not sure what I should do. I like the shelf idea to keep stuff but it gets rid of leg space. Maybe I could do a shelf above the desktop. Opinions/input?Also What should I use for the desktop as far as wood? I'm on a budget or else I would go something nice and glue it together. What should I use to seal the desktop? A lacquer or just stain? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2xcW1rR
