I got injured while working on an oil rig in Colorado. Both of my legs got crushed and I settled out of court and got a settlement around ~$1.2 million. Currently I live with my parents (I'm 23) I cannot work at the moment, and will probably not be able to use my legs ever again. What is the best way to use this money for my future? I basically have 0 expenses as of right now and am just sitting on this money, but feel like I should be doing something with it. Any advice on what to do? My first thought was to go back to school to be able to eventually work again.
