I moved to a new state for a great opportunity to boost my career. My budget is limited but I found a place in downtown near my work for $425 with utilities. It's a small city but close to university so my fellow tenants are mostly commuting Professionals or college kids. I'm only 23 recent grad so I'm in a similar walk of life.
This place is a renovated hotel from the 30's. I have my own room and own bathroom but I don't have a kitchen or living room. I planned to use a microwave, Toaster oven, hot plate, and crock pot to cook. And it comes with a mini fridge and I debated finding another fridge to add for more space if needed.
What kinda of tips and tricks might I do to be safe, smart, and frugal with this interesting living space?
