So I'm basically the noob of the office in the graphic design field. It took my senior an hour to conjure up a finished project, processed, and paid. It took me 3-5 hours for mine. However, that's not what I'm really worried about since everyone starts somewhere and people are always improving.
Many of my friends and families told me to make sure they arent low blowing me and taking advantage of me. I'm working full time for them 40 hours a week 10-7 at the office. Since I'm new im just being paid on commission and won't be paid monthly until July 15. They said however that when that time comes they can start paying me something like 10-15 dollars an hour of a salary. So that it would be around 1k-2k a month.
My question is, am I being overworked or is this just what real work is about? My old job was a retail cashier and I made 8.25 per hour 18 hours a week. I know I'm getting paid way more for this new job but I want to know if it's the right pay for the amount of work I'm doing.
