I've ashes currently in a very sturdy plastic bag. The bag is usefull because it can be placed inside an urn with a narrower opening. I am wondering if there is perhaps a more durable solution than plastic. Something long term. What can hold ashes and also be truly long lasting, on the hundreds years scale?

Perhaps any 'bag' is inherently less long lasting than something like a ceramic vessel.

But what's got the longest life after buying?

My first thought; a titanium canister. If i could find one large enough. It'll need a threaded lid which rules out ceramic and glass.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
