And this is another one. BUT, for a different reason. I’m of course in the market for a BIFL slotted toaster. I do not want a toaster oven. The reason for my post is specifically because I’d like a toaster that’s faster.
I make my own bread, and sometimes buy from a local bakery. It’s always simple bread with few ingredients. I’ve discovered that this type of bread, for whatever reason, takes about twice as long to toast to even a mild brown. I couldn’t burn my bread if I tried. Plus my old black and decker doesn’t hold the bread up high enough so I get to go digging to get the toast out. Also, one that’s not loud. My current toaster sounds like a roller coaster ratchet as you climb the slope.
So, while I would like a BIFL toaster like most folks on here, what one would you folks suggest I look at that;
1) toasts faster 2) holds the bread higher for easy removal 3) is also BIFL
