Yesterday my sole (dream) client informed me that they are undergoing some changes and would have to let me go.
Thanks to this sub I have 10k cushion saved up to make this a safe transition.
My life changed when I reached my 1st tier emergency fund. I felt a sense of freedom that I could do whatever I wanted because I had a safety net to catch me if I fell.
I highly recommend anyone who doesn't yet have an emergency fund to make it a goal of their's.
