My wife and I are looking for a new financial adviser because we have a good bit of money coming in from an inheritance. I work in the financial industry and I am wary to just use one of my contacts here because I may not be able to treat it as "business like" as I would want. Is there a good database or search that gives backgrounds for local FA's? I feel like I am kind of just drawing names out of a hat right now.
