Any advice on how to proceed is much appreciated. I’m absolutely disgusted with the OON ER (that OWNS the ambulance service) and my health insurance company for saying, in writing, the equivalent of our bad; it’s a “training opportunity.”
Insurance repeatedly assured me my emergency ambulance ride would cost $200 because my benefits state OON ground ambulance IS treated the same as IN ground ambulance. The ambulance ride was deemed OON, resulting in a balance bill.
