My parents are generously contributing approximately $400,000 USD towards my home renovations.
They are located in Australia, so the funds are in AUD. Since I am in the U.S., we need to convert these funds from AUD to USD.
We have used Wise for smaller transfers before, but given the large amount involved, I am unsure if it’s the best option. Could you suggest any alternative methods or provide guidance on how to handle this conversion with the lowest possible transaction cost?
