Husband and I - no kids but actively trying. Our plan is this will be the forever home.

*Home we are considering is 825k, new construction, no HOA, medium-high tax rate town.

*We make combined 250k annually.

*12.5k monthly take home after taxes and 401k.

*No debt what-so-ever.

*200k in savings, will put 20% down.

*Own a home with 50-80k equity that we will sell immediately after moving into the new home. (For personal reasons I can’t share, we need to move out of this house in the next six months.)

I’m just looking for a gut check. I’m very financially conservative so I’m not sure if my anxiety is legitimate or overreaching.

Mortgage payment will be between $3900 - $4300, in the process of nailing this number down.
