Hello all! I’m writing this on behalf of my dad who is 69M with no pension, no house, $300 a month income and no car.
My dad has been a missionary for most of his life and not put any money towards retirement. (he’s a US citizen) My mum is unemployed and currently living in England after we lost our house in December 2022. My dad is also currently visiting in England since he doesn’t have a place to stay except with a friend in the US. My younger sister is also homeless in Texas living with friends.
I’m 23F living in England and just started a new job with not enough money to fund my family’s lives.
Is there any hope for my parents specifically my dad? I’m mostly worried about my dad since he’s so old, body is slowly deteriorating and he has no income. I’m trying to weigh out all the options e.g putting him in an elderly home or him moving to England to stay with my mum. Any and all advice would help! xx
