About a month ago I get an email from Walmart about an order being shipped. I open it and don’t recognize the item and see it’s being shipped to an address a thousand miles away. I immediately cancel the order and change the password on my account. What’s interesting is it showed the payment method as like four different Walmart gift cards (none of which were mine). I did have a CC on the account, but it was expired so perhaps they would have used that if it was still valid? But that begs the question, why would they place the order from my account anyways?
I mean I have the person’s name and address and even found them on Facebook. Am I missing something? Is there something more sinister going on here I’m missing and should be aware of? I never did anything with the guy’s contact info.
Edit: do I report this guy? He’s clearly up to some shady shit.
