I need to get 3 root canals done. My dentist referred me to an endodontist and just an exam and 3d scan was $500 out of pocket. I can get an individual dental insurance for $70/month and start using it next month with no waiting period, but the max benefit is $2k in a year and it only covers 50% for root canal. Is it even worth it to get the dental insurance?
