In this YouTube-video Bruce Greenwald makes the case for buying the 10 stocks with the lowest P/B, and (I presume) rotate on a regular basis. This is similar to the magic formula and the acquirers multiple strategies, although with a different metric.
Are there any research or reliable backtests that confirms that Greenwald's and/or the other two approaches indeed does work (even in a rising environment market)?
