The recent turmoil in FRC has definitely affected all of our diversified index funds because FRC is in the S&P 500. I'm trying to find the percentage allocation of FRC in an S&P fund. Is it 1 out 500? Or is it weighted and if so, what's the percentage weight in an index fund? As it stands, FRC will be lucky if it survives to the weekend. This piece of shit San Francisco company with it's free flowing money and high mortgage assets is one of the causes of the higher real estate prices and is now a drag on our index funds.
