Last September I started my first position at the company I am currently working for. The initial offer was 64k and I was able to negotiate (and sign a written offer letter) for 65k + 3k sign on bonus. Today I received my first paycheck after a 2.5% cost-of-living raise. From inspecting the paycheck, I realized for the past 4-5 months I have been being paid at the pre-negotiation 64k rate. I did receive the bonus which is why I didn’t notice.

I believe I need to talk to my manager and see that I am paid the difference for all my previous paychecks and have the 2.5% raise recalculated from the 65k salary. Am I legally entitled to request this be done, living in California?
