I had a craving for dim sum (Hong Kong style finger food) but when I Google for restaurants, I got turn off. It’s usd 70 (in my country of residence. Price converted to usd for easier reference).
I change my plan and bought frozen dim sum made by a well known restaurant. I use the air fryer to do beancurd shrimp roll, roast pork and pork pastry and rice cooker to steam the pork buns, salted egg yolk buns, shrimp dumpling and pork dumpling. Total cost me 40 usd
I only cook half of the items and still had leftovers (I was also damn full). The other half is kept in the freezer.
I’m proud to be able to save money and still satisfy my cravings. I also get to have another DIY dim sum buffet to finish up the other half.
