My spouse was laid off and I am looking for some advice on how to manage finances. We were a dual income house, so we can fall back on my income. Spouse is getting 2 weeks severance and we are awaiting word on unemployment. Details: 2 kids (1 pre school, 1 in elementary with aftercare), mortgage, student loans, cell phones, some subscriptions (Disney, Netflix, Spotify, Hulu). I am planning to cut savings and 401k contributions to cover the gap. We have already cancelled a bunch of excess (gym membership, car loan paid off, audible, sling). Also reducing student loan and mortgage overpayments.
Anything I am missing or any resources I should look into?
