My husband and I just got an apartment together. Right now we're shopping for essentials (bed, silverware, plates/bowls, etc) and planning on the bigger purchases down the line, such as couches and whatnot. It doesn't hurt to look now, so we're browsing and prices are waaay out of our budget.
Just curious as to how much have others spent on furniture, supplies, etc
