I know times are tough, but definitely try to save for an emergency fund! This is how my week went for A/C, car body control module, sprinklers, and car tires (hoping it's only about $1,800):

A/C went out. This is not an acceptable scenario in Texas with a toddler, family, and my sanity. A/C was temporarily fixed yesterday for $90, then we had to get someone out today to fix it again: $170. Total was $260. Likely will die in the next couple years, so have to save up for the eventual cost of ~$5,000 for a good 5 ton.

2010 car shows some warning lights that will not pass inspection next year, but otherwise drives fine. A/C also does not work due to grounding from body control module, which is also death in Texas. I'm hoping it's just the $800 to replace the electrical body control module that needs to be done at the dealership, but if all modules need to be replaced, $2,700. For context, this is an insane amount, but transportation is transportation.

I found out same car also has a few pieces of metal in one of the tires, and last time I bought new tires for this car was 2014 (by the way, that was 8 years ago). I haggle and price match new Michelin Defender 2 at Discount Tire down to $650 OTD against Costco, which is the best I can get without stacking reimbursements from Discount Tire during a holiday sale which may get it down to say $525 OTD for good tires.

Sprinklers are also f'd up from the AT&T fiber burial team destroying a pipe and messing up some electrical wiring. Total is $80, but only because the guy is super nice, and my father-in-law was helping triage things. Father-in-law is also fixing a few other things on his own with the sprinkler guy's advice, so tack on another $40 for materials only. $120.

A lot of this is probably delayed maintenance or whatnot, but yeah, that's about $1,800 just to fix a few things. Try to save for unseen expenses because things are stressful enough!
