The Capital One Walmart Rewards Card says that you can earn 5% on the Walmart website and 2% in Walmart stores.
- Can you earn 5% cash back when you buy gift cards on walmart.com? If so, which ones does it apply to? Which ones does it not apply to? Is this discussed somewhere?
- According to wallethub, you can buy prepaid Visa cards in store and get 2% cash back. But that seems to contradict this post.
- It would seem weird if it applied to walmart gift cards, since that would partially defeat the purpose of the lower 2% cashback in-store.
Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere; it seems like it would be a popular topic. But I haven't found anything yet. Thanks to u/djbunvee87 for making me take a second look at the Visa question.
