I guess I’m a job hopper. Not really voluntarily, but If I don’t like something at my current job I flee. Mostly because I know I’ll find another one.

Job #1 = $50k = four months, laid off first summer of the pandemic Job #2 = $55k = three months, hated the work, no upward movement, zero passion, no training, no mentorship Job #3 = $60k = absolutely miserable, no mentorship, boss talks down to me, lied about paying for my grad school, broken promises. Here for four months so far. New offer = $68k, smaller company, more work in a field Im interested in, also lots of promises.

The longest full time job I’ve held was six months. Before that when I was working part time jobs, I was a waiter for 7 years and barista for 2.5 years.

I’m basically looking for advice if switching careers after only four months is bad and I should just stick it out at my current company for a year.

My team currently is 5 people. Boss has been here for 6+ years. Other two 5years, still doing grunt work. Other two are me and another new person
