I have £5000 which I want to start putting into the market at a regular basis via dollar/pound cost averaging.
I am looking for advice on the recommended amount, frequency and even some suggestions on assets. I am going to be looking at ETFs.
My preliminary thoughts are 50% S&P500, 30% FTSE100 and then the remaining 20% into an emerging markets ETF (maybe VFEM?). Not sure on the time horizon or frequency of investment, however my chosen brokerage allows up to 25 investments a month.
Would love any feedback or advice regarding this.
