I am having my car shipped from the West Coast to the East Coast. The company I am using has set up two separate trucking companies to bring my car down to the Keys. They said I need to send the first trucking company money via Zelle once it arrives in Miami and transfers to the second trucking company. Idk how to confirm this exchange is happening and am scared I have no protection in the case that something goes awry. It would be $1000 to the first trucking company.
Edit: anyone here ever ship their car and care to explain the process? They told me this was normal procedure but I’ve never done this before so I have no way to verify
