Last year, I noticed a HSA contribution hadn’t been taken out of my paystub. Contacted HR and got it fixed. Luckily, I caught it after one pay period.
This year, my paystubs looked correct, but when checking my contributions to my 401k, the last contribution was a month and a half prior, coinciding with a migration to a new HR system. Contacted HR and got it fixed as well.
This is an EOY reminder to make sure to check your paystubs AND accounts to make sure everything is correct!
