Just thought I would put this out there. Right now Costco Canada has InstaCart gift cards for $79.99 with a value of $100, so 20% off. At the same time InstaCart today has free delivery and a free 14 trial on their InstaCart Express option which saves you on their service fees.
My parents has requested I pickup a number of items for them from Costco as I have a membership, and they don't live anywhere close to one. Work is nuts for me, and the timing to get to Costco is impossible right now and it is also a crazy busy nightmare I prefer to avoid.
I priced out the options and long story short, even with the InstaCart upcharge on items and a tip, on a $310 order I saved $45, plus about 2 hours of my time. Obviously this deal work better the more items you buy, since you save additional shopping time and service fees/tip.
Anyway if you ark working from home, need a big list of items from Costco and have a membership, this might be a good choice to save a little time and money! Just don't forget to cancel the InstaCart Express auto renew (before the end of the trial) I did it right after I placed my order. Took 3 seconds.
