As the title says, he got a very official letter from the North Carolina Department of Commerce denying his unemployment claim. He's been steadily employed by the same company for 7 years. What should our first steps be? Assuming his identity's been stolen and going nuclear with credit bureau freezes? Contacting the Department of Commerce to get more info into the claim?
