Sorry for the hamlet quote but I couldn’t resist haha. But I am a recent college grad (2017) and I have a stable job with a local government. I make about 47,000 a year before taxes. I take home about 2600 a month. I am a financial stressor I guess growing up in the middle of a recession will do that.
I recently did my monthly budget and after all my monthly bills I have about 1200 left over. My question is multi-pronged:
- How much should/can I spend on a vehicle?
- What are some vehicle buying tips? I’ve only ever bought cars from friends or family
- Good places to get financing? I have a 714 credit score even with my student loans.
- Is it a good time to buy?
- I see a lot of high mileage trucks for sale? What mileage is too high?
Thanks in advance!
