Hey there,
My parents are.. old fashion. My mother mailed in their taxes to the IRS with a check attached for what they owe. They dropped off the envelop containing the taxes into a USPS "blue box". The IRS has yet to cash the check and they are getting worried that the envelop was never delivered properly. What are their options? They mailed it in with plenty of time left before 2020 taxes were due, but now it is very late at this point if it was never received.
