Rather than using paper towels or even washable towels, I just go into my apartment complexes trash can and can always find boxes from online orders. I tear it apart, and the boxes soaks up most of the mess. I'll only use paper towels when 90% of the mess has ben cleaned up/for finer detail cleaning/disinfecting.
